Annie

CO-OWNER, OPERATIONAL MANAGER, PERSONAL TRAINER & KINESIOLOGIST

  • Andrea (aka Annie) is the co-founder of Everyday Athletes. Annie takes pride in her work and makes an effort to stay current and relevant with her education by taking at least 4 courses a year. She is a practicing member of the BCAK and has a BSc Hkin.

    Annie has worked with a wide variety of clients with many different needs and abilities. Her fine attention to detail has helped hundreds of people lose thousands of pounds and maintain a healthy lifestyle long term. Her training philosophy is to “move with purpose,” which encourages the program to relate to and have a purpose for overall functioning of the human body with the result to reach and surpass goals.

    Annie believes you should train from a holistic viewpoint where you are not only physically fit, but mentally as well. This ideology helps to maintain your results and a healthy lifestyle in the long run. It is never too late to start on a fitness journey and she welcomes clients of any fitness level and age.

Robbie

CO-OWNER, HEAD PERSONAL TRAINER & FITNESS MANAGER

  • Robbie is one of the founders of Everyday Athletes. He is a dedicated and educated personal trainer that moved to Vancouver from Ireland in 2012. He has over 12 years of experience in the health and fitness industry specializing in boxing, kettlebell training, and functional fitness.

    Robbie’s attention to detail with his programming, focus on form, variety of methods and encouragement means his clients get results while enjoying their training. You will be sure to learn a lot in his science based training sessions and push yourself past your limits. With his quick wit and humour you will also be sure to enjoy the time in the gym.

Amy

GROUP FITNESS MANAGER & PERSONAL TRAINER

  • Amy has played competitive soccer her whole life and fell in love with health and fitness along the way. She loved training for the sport, especially getting stronger over the off-season. Amy feels the most confident when she's strong and healthy and knew that she wanted to spend the rest of her life empowering others to feel the same. Amy has had experience with a variety of different clients with many different goals. Additionally, with her Sport and Exercise Science background she gravitates towards athletes who have performanced based goals. She loves helping people achieve goals they didn’t think they could achieve.

Ryan

PERSONAL TRAINER


  • Originally from Edmonton, Ryan has a degree in computer engineering and first came to BC chasing the world-class mountain biking in the Sea-to-Sky. After a couple years in IT—and conquering every trail around—he fell in love with competitive sport again and shifted his full focus toward maximizing his potential in athletic performance. Over the past year he has been working at Opex Fitness delivering programs to younger performance athletes to older clients regaining mobility and building strength. 

    Now a competitive beach volleyball athlete and certified personal trainer, Ryan brings a calculated, progress-driven mindset to training—built on both technical knowledge and first-hand athletic experience. Whether you’re chasing strength goals, trying to move better, or aiming for peak performance in your sport, Ryan knows what it takes to level up.

    If he’s not at the gym or the beach, you’ll probably find him… at the other beach.

Levi

PERSONAL TRAINER


  • Levi was born and raised in the heart of East Vancouver and brings a deep passion for fitness and cultural connection to his work. With a background in exploring diverse cultures, Levi has a unique ability to engage with clients from all walks of life — and if you speak another language, don’t be surprised if he chats with you in it!


    Originally rooted in powerlifting, Levi’s fitness journey has evolved into a deep dedication to calisthenics and mastering bodyweight movement. Certified through CanFitPro, he is equipped to help clients safely reach their personal goals while building strength, confidence, and resilience. Levi is known for his encouraging coaching style, his ability to push clients safely, and his genuine care for everyone he works with. You’ll not only see results — you’ll build a meaningful connection along the way.

Paul

PERSONAL TRAINER & LIFE COACH

  • Paul grew up with a profound love for fitness, immersing himself in various sports throughout his childhood, with a particular passion for football (soccer). This early fascination with physical activity ignited a lifelong journey in the health and fitness space, shaping him into the coach he is today.

    With over a decade of experience under his belt, Paul has been actively empowering and assisting countless clients in achieving their fitness goals. His expertise spans a wide range of areas, including weight loss, body composition training, and strength and conditioning. It is his genuine dedication and commitment to his client's well-being that has garnered him a loyal following over the years.

    Paul's approach to personal training goes beyond just workouts and exercises. He believes in the power of holistic health, understanding that true transformation comes from nurturing physical, mental, and emotional well-being simultaneously. By working closely with his clients, he encourages the development of positive habits and inspires them to reinvent themselves from the inside out.

    As a certified life coach, Paul's expertise extends beyond fitness. He revels in assisting his clients in not only reaching their fitness milestones but also excelling in all aspects of their lives. PERSONAL TRAINER

  • Kyle Swanson is a dual American-Canadian personal trainer and actor with a diverse background in fitness, performance, and endurance athletics. With training experience across multiple cities in North America, Kyle brings a well-rounded and adaptable approach to helping others reach their goals.

    A lifelong athlete, Kyle has competed in and trained for endurance sports such as cross-country running, basketball, swimming, kayaking, hiking, and mountain biking—now exploring the rugged trails of the Rocky Mountains and beautiful British Columbia. His philosophy is built on stamina, resilience, and functional strength, developed through years of balancing the demands of both the entertainment industry and hybrid athletic training.

Dylan

ATHLETIC THERAPIST & PERSONAL TRAINER

  • Dylan is an experienced Athletic Therapist / Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist who has delivered high-performance care across the NHL, CFL, and BCHL. He has worked with elite athletes with the Vancouver Canucks, BC Lions, and multiple teams in the BCHL, bringing a deep understanding of the physical demands of professional sport.

    With a focus on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and return-to-play strategies, Dylan integrates evidence-based practice with hands-on care to help athletes recover stronger and perform at their best. He is passionate about empowering athletes through education and tailored treatment to support long-term health and peak performance.

Toby

PERSONAL TRAINER

  • Originally from the Lake District in England, Toby grew up playing rugby from a young age. Through rugby, he got an insight into what an elite sporting environment looks like, which helped shape his passion for performance and training.

    Toby’s love for sport goes far beyond rugby. It led him to study the science of sporting performance at university, where he developed a strong understanding of strength and conditioning, nutrition, and athletic development.

    Toby enjoys all types of training, from hypertrophy based programmes and circuit training to more specialised athletic development. Whether their goal is to improve fitness, build muscle, get stronger, or perform better in sport, Toby is committed to helping people make real progress.
